Dr. Pierre-Marie Gagey
Dr. Pierre-Marie Gagey is a retired physician. He was working as a doctor in the building and public works industries of the Paris region throughout his medical career, which led him to take an interest in the problems of the head injury sequelae, numerous on the building sites. He worked with Dr. Jean-Bernard Baron who in the mid-1950s made the first experiment in chaotic physiology and the early research on postural disorders of head trauma. Dr. Gagey developed the concept of Postural Fine System (SPF), organized postural clinical examination and created posturology. Together with all the former students of Dr. Baron, Dr. Gagey founded the French Association of Posturology for the study and treatment of postural functional disorders not taken up by classical neurology. Dr. Gagey has published a number of books and articles, mainly in French, on posturology and stabilometry.
His current focus is the International standardization of clinical stabilometry.
