Dr. Katelyn A. Bruno
Katelyn Bruno, PhD, is an Instructor of Medicine and Senior Research Fellow in the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville Florida and an Adjunct Faculty Instructor at University of North Florida. Dr. Bruno received her doctorate from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in Environmental Health Science specializing in Molecular and Translational Toxicology.
Dr. Bruno has several publications and has numerous manuscripts in preparation. Dr. Bruno has presented oral and poster presentations at numerous national and international conferences and has won a number of awards. Some of her recent awards include American Pediatric Association Environmental Scholar, finalist for the Heart Failure of America Jay N. Cohn New Investigator Award, HFSA Future Leader in Heart Failure, and Heart Failure Association of the ESC Young Investigator Winner. She serves as a board member for a number of nonprofits and scientific societies.
Dr. Bruno helps coordinate a research team at Mayo Clinic that includes collaborators from Physical Rehabilitation, Neurology, Cardiology and Research studying chronic pain conditions including hypermobility syndrome, hypermobile Ehlers Danlos, migraines, and fibromyalgia.
